The following year, ten young adults spent three months touring Finland, Germany, Italy, France, Switzerland, England and Scotland with music theatre, dance and puppetry programs.
2002
Central Australia Tour
In July 2002, Wayfarers converged on a Scout Hall in Alice Springs, where we rehearsed. We visited Uluru, gave performances in Alice and Darwin, then spent several days in Kakadu National Park. It was very special to be able to perform Judy’s work “Kakadu” IN Kakadu, amongst the sacred landmarks and wildlife featured in the music. Notably the cello spikes being our main defence against crocodiles while performing to other tourists by the side of red lily billabong.
