Japan and South Korea Tour

In 2017, a large group of Wayfarers from across Australia and around the world gathered in Hokkaido, Japan, for two weeks of intensive rehearsals before beginning the touring phase of the journey.

The tour brought together music, community, and international friendship in a way that is characteristic of Wayfarers. The group worked closely together in rehearsal, then shared their music with students, families, and teachers in Steiner/Waldorf schools in Japan and South Korea.

Judy's opera, Harmonia Mundi, was premiered on this tour. 70 movers, musicians, actors, and singers staged the work across both countries. Harmonia Mundi would go on to be performed around Australia in 2019.
